Máire graduated as a speech and language therapist from University College Cork (UCC) in 2009 with a first-class honours degree. Following this she moved to London where she worked in schools and within the NHS. In 2013 she moved to Sydney and gained extensive experience working in vibrant and dynamic private practices and within a not for profit organisation. She now engages predominantly in telepractice to share her knowledge and skills with families in both Ireland and Australia.
Máire has completed many trainings including Hanen It Takes Two to Talk, DIR Floortime, Connect Therapy, The Lidcombe Program and Picture Exchange Communication System (PECS) along with a range of in house training sessions on sensory regulation, social communication, key word sign, the role of the SLT in best practice literacy interventions, SOS feeding therapy and SLT tele practice delivery.
