About Emily
Everyone who contacts Evolve will first speak to Emily. She is a Speech and Language Therapist and is also an early childhood educator who has relocated back to Ireland after seven years of working internationally in some of the most internationally known services. Her most recent employment prior to opening Evolve Therapy was an Autism Specialist Speech Pathologist for Aspect- The Autism Association, Australia's largest Autism provider where she was based on the Sydney team, she was also a coordinator for early intervention evidence based groups building blocks. Prior to that Emily gained extensive experience while working for other leading service providers Therapy Focus (Largest provider of therapy Western Australia) and The Lizard Centre (The Largest Applied Behaviour Analysis Centre).
Emily in total has eleven years’ experience working with children and adolescents with Autism Spectrum disorder and their families. She also works with children with speech delays/disorders, mild to complex disabilities, specific learning difficulties such as (dyslexia or dsypraxia), emotional and behavioural difficulties etc. Emily has undertaken extensive training in Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA), Positive Behaviour support (PBS), extensive training in AAC- Picture Exchange Communication Systems (PECS), Makaton, LAMP-(Language acquisition Through Motor Planning) , Proloque 2 go, Pragmatic Organisation Dynamic Display (PODD) to name a few. She is also a certified ADOS-2 administrator.
Emily aims to support the development of children and adolescent’s social, emotional, behavioural and academic development. She offers families and young people comprehensive speech and language assessments and therapeutic interventions.
