Beth – Occupational Therapist
Beth began her professional career in the health and leisure sector, where she specialised in aquatic therapy for over ten years. During this time, she developed tailored aqua aerobics and swimming programmes that supported people of all ages and abilities to build confidence, strength, and wellbeing through movement.
Her experience working with children and adults with diverse developmental and sensory profiles — including autistic individuals, people with Down syndrome, developmental coordination challenges, and sensory processing differences — inspired her to pursue a career in Occupational Therapy.
Returning to university as a mature student, Beth completed her Occupational Therapy degree and has since dedicated her practice to supporting children’s development through play-based and sensory-informed therapy. She is passionate about helping each child reach their potential across all areas of daily life — from play and learning to self-care and social participation.
Beth has completed her MSc in Sensory Integration with Ulster University and has also undertaken advanced professional training in Astronaut Training (Vital Links), Traffic Jam in My Brain, Zones of Regulation, Toilet Training and Enuresis, Meditation, and Handwriting Without Tears.
Beth is CORU-registered and a member of the Association of Occupational Therapists of Ireland (AOTI). She provides neuroaffirmative, strengths-based care that values regulation, connection, and meaningful participation in everyday life.
