Ann Linehan – Senior Educational Psychologist

Ann Linehan holds a Degree in Social Science and an Honours Masters in Special Education from Lehman College, New York. She has worked within children’s disability and educational support services for over 25 years, bringing a wealth of experience to her role.

Ann began her career as a preschool teacher supporting children with additional learning needs before returning to study Psychology. She later completed her Postgraduate qualification in Educational Psychology and has been practising as an Educational Psychologist since 2003.

Ann currently works as a Senior Educational Psychologist with children and families who present with a wide range of learning and developmental profiles, including complex needs. She has a particular interest in educational assessment and supporting schools and parents in identifying and responding to specific learning differences such as dyslexia and dyscalculia.

Ann is passionate about helping children discover their strengths and reach their full potential within school and everyday life. She values collaboration and works closely with families and educators to create inclusive and supportive learning environments.

Alongside her clinical work, Ann Linehan is also a published children’s book author and enjoys using her creativity to inspire learning, confidence, and imagination in young readers. Outside of work, Ann enjoys yoga, travel, creative writing, and developing educational books and resources for children.
