Ann has a degree in Social Science which was followed by an Honours Masters in Special Education from Lehman College in New York.
She has worked with childrens disability services for the past 25 years. Ann began as a special needs preschool teacher and later returned to study Psychology. She then completed her Postgrad in Educational Psychology. She has worked as an Educational Psychologist since 2003 and now works as a Senior Educational Psychologist with children who have complex needs, and their families.
Ann has a particular interest in educational assessment and the identification of educational needs, particularly specific learning difficulties such as dyslexia. She also enjoys travel, creative writing and creating educational books for children.
